| hey all! has everyone started their Christmas shoppin yet?? i've started and i'm almost finished now!!...i know crazy isn't it?? lol well i feel great! i LOVE the Christmas season! it's my absolute favorite time of the year. i know there's lots of hustle and bustle, but i just love how ppl are more considerate (except in line lol) and everyone's excited about the gifts they're gettin and giving. as i get older i look forward more and more to the giving part of Christmas. a few years a go i got everyone a lil somethin but it wz only b/c i hope'd they'd get me somethin really good if i got them somethin.but now i can't wait to see my niece's face light up when i give her her gift on Christmas morning! i'm soo excited about what i got everyone and i love to see all the reactions from everyone; not only Mary. well i gotta go wrap some gifts so Merry Christmas y'all!! and we all have to remember why we have this Christmas season in the first place. not just gifts, but the gift of grace and mercy brought down to us. | hey guys. how's life goin? hopefully well for all of you. my life is goin pretty well right now. i'm almost finished with my semester @ HCC, i'm gettin along great w/my parents for the most part, i had a meeting w/my boss and we smoothed alot of stuff out, i'm in a great relationship w/a great guy, youth convention is this weekend!!, my youth group is growing and learning and lots of other stuff that would take all night to write. i guess this leads me to one obvious point: my God is an awesome God!! i've always known that, but i don't think about it often enough. He's given me soo much to be thankful for and yet i find myself complaining alot. not something i'm proud of, but something i am working on w/His help. i feel somehow like i'm coming into a new chapter of my life. i really have no reason or basis or the conclusion, but it's just something i feel. something i can't help but feel. like there's something on the horizon for me. just waiting, waiting for the most opportune time to show itself to me. neway enough blabberin, i'm soo excited about the holidays coming up! Thanksgiving i get to go see my dad's family in Georgia! i haven't seen them in quite awhile. it's like a mini-vacation when i go up there. i can just do what i want with absolutely no reason needed for doing it lol i love those days...and then Christmas!! i love being able to buy other ppl gifts now. as i get older i not only enjoy getting but i also really enjoy giving! reactions are the best! hehe we always have Christmas w/our immediate family, ya know, g'ma, sister(s), nieces, nephews the whole gang. ok well i'll stop now. this was an exceptionally long post. sorry if it wz boring again. lol i guess i use xanga to vent sometimes. this was one of those times...well have a fantastic week everyone! +God Bless+ | | |
